Ultrasonic Welding
Ultrasonic Welding is an industrial technique whereby high-frequency ultrasonic acoustic vibrations are locally applied to workpieces being held together under pressure to create a solid-state weld. It is commonly used for plastics, and especially for joining dissimilar materials. In ultrasonic welding, there are no connective bolts, nails, soldering materials, or adhesives necessary to bind the materials together. This is ideal for lowering tooling costs by avoiding complex moulds.
Thermo Foil Printing
Thermo Foil Printing is a process in which heated type is pressed firmly against the item to be printed, with stamping foil between, for a set time to produce a high quality, non-smudging, permanent print. We can thermo foil on plastic parts with customers name or logo giving a very professional look to the parts.
Vacuum Forming
Vacuum Forming is a process whereby, a sheet of plastic is heated to a forming temperature, stretched onto a single-surface mold, and forced against the mold by a vacuum (suction of air). The vacuum forming process is used at KHP for POS product packaging as required by customers.
Assembly
KHP offers post moulding assembly of products where required by customer. This can be either mechanical/electromechanical, assembly machines or manual assembly which may or may not require purpose built jigs and fixtures.
